A Mano Trading

is the work of two sisters:  Seana Pedelaborde and Tara Brown.   Seana Pedelaborde founded the company in 1997.  Once little sister Tara Brown joined in with her more contemporary and DIY design sensibility, the company became what it is today:

 Our love of material culture and appreciation of handwork is what inspires us to create and to bring to market the work of other designers and artisans. We are now featuring:

AMANO STUDIO

Designs by Tara Brown and Seana Pedelaborde assembled in our Sonoma, CA studio with the help of other local craftswomen.  The components used in our jewelry are 95% sourced from other US manufacturers.  We we do also use vintage components from Japan, West Germany and Czechoslovakia.  Many are made with vintage tools and molds. We are always hunting and gathering new and interesting things to incorporate in our designs. 

BEIJO BRASIL:   Our sister company (literally our sister's company!) Designer Misty Darling with her team of local creative collaborators, design and handmake the most beautiful jewelry and accessories in Misty's downtown Sonoma, CA studio home of Beijo Brasil. Their work can be found at the SF MOMA and at fashionable boutiques around the country.
